The Tanaka Laboratory is part of the Department of Information and Communication Engineering, Faculty of Computer Science and Systems Engineering, Kyushu Institute of Technology. Our research focuses on embedded systems, the Internet of Things (IoT), and Low Power Wide Area (LPWA) communication technologies.
We work on a broad range of topics — from designing lightweight software stacks for resource-constrained microcontrollers, to building sensor node networks and optimizing communication protocols — always with real-world deployment in mind.
